It distributes what Gate 40 provides, but only within a bargain everyone's agreed to clearly. Without that partner, you're left looking for someone with resources worth distributing.

Gate 40 carries a built-in aloneness. The beginning of individuation, a need to separate from the tribe even while providing for it. Its satisfaction comes from delivering on a promise to an appreciative community, but the bargain needs constant, clear renegotiation. Without Gate 37 to distribute what you provide, you're left looking for a community worth the offer.

Gate 14 is fertile Sacral power at its most exalted. The resource engine that supports mutation and direction. But the wealth and power it generates aren't for hoarding. They're meant to empower others' creativity and vision. Without Gate 2's direction, resources thrown indiscriminately are a poor investment.

It sits in the same four-way cluster as Gates 10, 20, and 57, so this power can resolve into conviction, action, or instinct depending on what else is active. Without Gate 57's intuitive guidance specifically, the same power turns meddlesome and directionless, burning energy that serves no one.

Gate 9 funnels Gate 52's raw stillness-power into diligent focus on what's actually meaningful. Without that stillness feeding it, determination runs out fast. Frustration replaces follow-through.
